Well Rolls Royce is not a sports car Then What makes a Rolls Royce More Luxury?

There are several things in Rolls Royce which makes Expensive in the World.

1.RR Badge on the Wheel

The wheels of Rolls Royce are specially designed that the RR badge in the wheel does not rotate with the wheel cap it always stays upright at all times. This is a really cool feature and you will find it on every Rolls Royce

2.Silent Cabin

Rolls Royce cabin is so silent. Road noise and other sounds are what make a journey tiring. The Rolls engineers have designed their cars in such a way that they are extremely silent. The only noise that you can hear in the Rolls Royce comes from the clock on the dashboard. Rolls Royce knows how to provide comfort to the passengers.

3.Fully Handmade

In making a Rolls Royce, most of the work is done by hand which makes it the exclusivity of the car. Rolls Royce factory has only 4 robots in the whole factory which are only used to perform the basics work. 2 of the Robots are used to apply a primer coat to the car. If you opt for a pinstripe on most cars, they put in a sticker and give it you. But that is not the case in a Rolls. A pinstripe is painted on the car using a brush made up of squirrels’ hair. The whole process is done by only one person and takes about 3 hours to do from start to finish.

4. Finest materials are used in making a Rolls Royce

Rolls Royce uses the best materials. To begin with, only bull hide is used and not cowhide. It takes 17 days to complete the interiors of a single car and that takes 11 bullheads. Also, all the wood veneer in the car is stored in humidified chambers so that they don’t crack. The veneer is placed on velvet sheets while it is being worked on so that they don’t get scratched. This is the attention to detail given to the materials that are going inside each Rolls.

5.Reliability

In 1906, Rolls Royce was founded as a car and airplane manufacturing company. In the same year, the company introduced its second car, the Silver Ghost. To prove its reliability, the company ran the car for a non-stop record run of 24,000 kms. Rolls Royce is one of the very few car companies that provide engines for aircraft. Since the standards are very high in the aviation industry and chances of failure have large consequences, their quality needs to be top-notch for them to survive in the industry. Even way back in 1913, Rolls Royce had a competition called the Rolls Royce Alpenfahrt which was a contest that made drivers drive through 19 different Alpine passes. This is a true testament to the reliability of the Rolls. At that point in time, the fastest thing in air, land, and water was powered by an engine made by Rolls Royce.

6. Truly custom built

You can not see two Rolls Royce which are the same. The reason behind that is the infinite levels of customization that is offered on the Rolls. You have 44000 option for the shades (paint). Such is the level of customization that you can go up to them with color and they can produce the whole car in it. You have a lot of options for interior colors, materials, veneers as well. The painting process on a Rolls Royce is a complex one too. The paint on a Rolls Royce itself weighs 45 kgs. Also, there are two layers of clear coat that are applied to give it that mirror finish.

7.Spirit of Ecstasy

Rolls Royce is also for its Spirits of Ecstasy. The Spirit of Ecstasy in front of the bonnet is in the form of a woman leaning forwards with her arms outstretched behind and above her. Billowing cloth runs from her arms to her back, resembling wings which indicate the Love and Speed of the car. No one can steal it, if someone tries to steal it then the Spirit of Ecstasy automatically goes inside the Bonnet. The price of The Spirit of Ecstasy can go from $2000- $200,000 which is almost half of the price of automobiles. You can also Customize it in many variants. The Spirit of Ecstasy coated in silver chrome $1500 to $2000(INR 64k to 128k), Polycarbonated Spirit of Ecstasy - $15000(INR 9–10 lacs), 24 Carat Gold Spirit of Ecstasy - $16000(INR 1 Million)

8.Suicide Doors

Rolls Royce has been using suicide doors (the ones that open in the opposite direction) for a long while now. The main reason is that it allows for easier entry and exit, that too more elegantly. The Door of the cars is so heavy that’s whys Rolls Royce provides you a push button so that you can easily close the doors. Although you can have an umbrella holder in the doors. There is heather inside that umbrella holder which can dry out your wet umbrella when you keep inside.

9.Infinite options

Depending upon your requirements, you can spec out your Rolls with options you can’t even imagine. There is an option If you like the starry night sky, you can opt for the starlight headliner. It has 1600 tiny fiber optic lights that have been hand-sewn into the fabric above your head. You could also have a minibar on your door to chill your champagne. There are many more crazy options like this which truly make the Rolls a car worth the money.

10.$10,000 Sound System

With most cars, upgrading to the nicer sound system comes with maybe a $1,500 price bump. But, if you’re ordering a Rolls-Royce Wraith and opt for the Bespoke Audio system upgrade, you’ll pay an additional $9,650.It’s an impressive system with 1,300 watts and 18 channels, plus 7 each of midrange speakers and tweeters, 2 subwoofers, and a pair of “exciter” speakers. That’s 18 speakers in total, which isn’t too shabby. To get the setup just so, interior designers from Rolls-Royce and the chief audio engineer of Bespoke worked tirelessly for two years to fine-tune every detail. That included embedding those “exciter” speakers in the headliner. Needless to say, the sound quality is pretty impressive
